As of August 31, amendments to Rules for Execution of Clearing Activities on Transactions with Financial Instruments came into force
/KACC, September 2, 2026/ – By a decision of the Board of Directors of KASE Clearing Centre (KACC, Clearing Centre) dated August 28, 2026, amendments and additions No. 8 (amendments) to KACC's internal document "Rules for Execution of Clearing Activities on Transactions with Financial Instruments" (Rules) were approved.
The amendments came into force as of August 31, 2026, with the exception of provisions concerning the conclusion of an addendum to the Agreement on remote access of brokerage companies through the electronic trading system (TABADUL HUB), concluded between Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange PJSC (ADX), Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), and the Clearing Centre, which come into force as of the date of signing the addendum.
The amendments provide for the following:
- adding eBonds as a trading environment to Appendix 1 of the Rules, which contains the list of serviced markets and trading venues;
- clarifying the specifics of clearing services for participants of the electronic trading system, providing for clearing services under partial collateral terms;
- extending the existing mechanism of using financial instruments not included in the T+ Collateral List as collateral to the stock market, alongside the foreign exchange market;
- unifying the procedure for opening, maintaining, and closing trading and clearing accounts, including asset pool accounts, providing for the establishment of a general procedure for their opening, maintaining, and closing by an internal document of KASE, taking into account the specifics of serviced markets provided for by the Rules;
- making editorial and technical changes aimed at clarifying specific provisions of the Rules.
The updated text of the Rules will be published on KACC's website at https://kacc.kz/en/kacc-rules (tab "Clearing").
